In pharmaceuticals, “galenic” formulation describes the art of preparing an active ingredient for sale to patients in varied formats: tablets, pills, sachets, or injectable solutions. And applied to cosmetics, “galenic” formulations come as gels, emulsions, pastes, micellar water, cleansers, or oils, etc.
